A community garden in the heart of Copenhagen
Green Living See all
Byhaven 2200, a community garden, is located right in the middle of the Nørrebro district of Copenhagen. Here some very enthusiastic young people have started the garden in Nørrebroparken. One of the initiators is Sandra Villumsen. She tells the story of how the community garden would not work if it was not for the help of the many volunteers. The garden started spring this year, and has been given a three year permit by the municipality of Copenhagen. But hopefully the garden can stay for many years.
